SNHU Arena
SNHU Arena is the largest indoor arena in New Hampshire, seating up to 11,770 for concerts and events and serving as the home of the Manchester Monarchs ECHL hockey team. Opened in 1995 as the Verizon Wireless Arena, it has hosted major touring acts from Taylor Swift to Metallica and regularly draws sold-out crowds that fill the Elm Street corridor. The arena sits in the heart of downtown Manchester, making it walkable from most downtown hotels — but parking on event nights is a different story.
Street meters fill within blocks of the arena hours before doors open, and the nearby surface lots charge event-rate pricing. A charter bus drops your group at the Elm Street entrance and picks everyone up at an agreed curbside point after the show, so the night ends on your schedule rather than in a parking garage queue.
